SCHEDULE
The HHL Schedule has been posted.
It has been balanced for "Late" games. (10PM or later) The league average is 11 games. all teams are with in 3 of the average.
ADDITIONAL ICE
This year with the League expanding (35+ division) we have been able to secure additional ice at Canada Olympic Park. The facility opens in December, and we were fortunate to secure a weekly slot (Friday 10:15pm).
We also expect to acquire more ice slots when the Centennial Expansion is complete. They are targetting end of March but may be done as early as January.
This season we have a small float of extra ice for this season, but they are not attractive dates...
(Thanksgiving weekend, Grey Cup Sunday, Superbowl Sunday and the day of the Flames Heritage Classic.)
We expected that this year we would be running tight on ice.
TEAMS & MOVEMENT
This offseason has seen significant change to the HHL compared to seasons' past.
A-Division: Two teams promoted from B-Div (Blazin' Aces, Stars)
B-Division: Two new teams accepted (Spiders, Cowboys)
35 Division: Expanded division to 12 teams
2 new teams accepted (Warthogs, Longhorns)
The most recent team accepted is the Longhorns... Primarily made up of Bulls alumni, this marks another team following in the footsteps of the Buzzards/Vultures & Villains/Vandals. With several Bulls alumni on the team they are expected to be a good addititon to 35+ and for years to come.

UPDATED RULES
The Rules: A few items have been updated for clarity. Read this document prior to coming to the August 30 meeting. Every team rep & player on each team is expected to know the rules.
LEAGUE MEETING (AUG 30)
Don't miss a meeting... Or you will be deducted 2 points in the standings.
Meetings are held (Aug-Mar) on the Last Monday of each month (except Dec.) at 7PM Centennial Boardroom.
The Labatt beer is always cold at the meetings.
First meeting is August 30 (7pm Centennial). See you then.
